Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for various production runs.
• Operate manufacturing presses to produce parts according to specifications.
• Monitor press operation, identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions or issues.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure adherence to standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press machinery.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from the press.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Prior experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, hydraulic).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated commitment to quality control and adherence to production specifications.
• Ability to understand and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Proficiency with advanced measurement tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
• Basic computer skills for HMI interaction and data entry
• Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or troubleshooting
