MiVet Animal Clinic proudly offers our patients, consisting of dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, non-venomous snakes, lizards, turtles, birds, and miniature pigs, comprehensive and compassionate veterinary medical, surgical, and dental care, and we are currently seeking a full-time , experienced veterinary receptionist who can collaboratively guide the day-to-day operations of the front desk.

MiVet client care specialists are the heart and first impression of our practice. They greet each client with warmth and ensure every visit ends on a positive note. Their role is vital in creating meaningful connections and lasting impressions. We’re looking for candidates who bring:

• 2+ years of experience working as a veterinary receptionist (required)
• 4+ years of experience working in a customer service setting (required)
• Fear Free handling skills and/or certification
• Proficiency in patient triage both virtually and face-to-face
• Proficiency managing financial transactions
• Proficiency coordinating patient check-in, admission, and discharge
• Ability to maintain digital medical records using practice software
• Proficiency identifying prescription medications for the purpose of refills
• Proficiency with DEA & OSHA compliance and regulation a bonus
• Ability to demonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted, and to stand/sit for long periods of time
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Word and Excel
