Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, integrating production volumes and costs.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis of manufacturing operations, including direct labor, material, and overhead variances.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing plants and corporate management.
• Analyze capital expenditure requests, evaluating ROI and payback periods for new equipment and facility upgrades.
• Perform variance analysis, comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
• Support inventory valuation and analysis, monitoring stock levels, obsolescence, and working capital efficiency.
• Partner with operational teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve production efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost accounting principles, including variance analysis and standard costing.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills, specifically for manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools in a production environment.
• Ability to analyze operational data, such as production costs, inventory turns, and supply chain efficiencies.
• Demonstrated experience in capital expenditure (CAPEX) analysis and return on investment (ROI) calculations for manufacturing assets.

Bonus Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience utilizing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for operational data analysis.
