Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain part quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms or production issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (3-5 years) operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Ability to perform tool offsets, change inserts, and troubleshoot common machining issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for program modification or generation.
• Proficiency in operating CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
