Service Manager
Carleton Equipment Company, a leader in the equipment industry, is seeking a dedicated Service Manager Technician for our Brighton, Michigan store. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established team known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will oversee service department operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the Service Department
- Create and finalize service work orders and quotes, presenting them for customer approval
- Monitor and maintain timelines and quality standards for service delivery
- Foster a positive and productive work environment for employees
- Handle communication via phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Administer warranty processes and ensure compliance
- Conduct daily time card and job clock audits
- Oversee technician training progress and health & safety training
- Generate and analyze service reports
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, and crawling as needed
- Uphold the standards set by Carleton Equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong math skills for calculating totals, percentages, and discounts
- Excellent reasoning skills for listening, evaluating, and problem-solving
- Public speaking ability to effectively direct and address employees in group settings
Compensation
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
