Maintenance Technician 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)

Auburn Hills, MI

$29 – $35 per hour

Contract | Full-Time

We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. This opportunity plays a key role in supporting operational goals by conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. The ideal Maintenance Technician will have a strong background in automotive or manufacturing environments and enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including presses, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, robots, and more
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain and update maintenance records in support of operational goals
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED required; advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
• USDOL Journeyman certificate preferred
• Familiarity with vision inspection systems a plus
• Experience with Fanuc and/or ABB Robotics a plus
• Siemens Controls Step 5 / Step 7 knowledge a plus

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and robotic programming
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in resolving machine malfunctions and quality issues
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions
• Capable of working independently and within a team-based environment
