Occupational Therapist - Muskegon/Lakeshore

As a part of our mission to deliver high-quality, personalized care, you will provide occupational therapy services to improve the quality of life for patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' skills in daily living and work activities.
  • Educate patients and families on techniques to promote independence and safety in their homes.
  • Document treatment outcomes and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of therapy services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, or Associates degree for COTA.
  • Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist or COTA in Michigan.
  • Prior experience in a home health or similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
