Finance & Accounting Support
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Labor Relations to ensure prompt input of all required payroll information for Craft Professionals into project timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Perform data entry including new hire information, terminations, rate changes, and classification updates.
- Support onboarding of project new hires, including site badging for all personnel.
- Verify daily craft attendance using the electronic timekeeping system (eTrack).
- Review, balance (reconcile), and export daily time records for craft employees.
- Handle replacement badging and perform time clock maintenance/troubleshooting.
- Create and distribute daily/weekly reports such as force reports, attendance infractions, and timesheet completion reports.
- Sort, validate, and distribute weekly craft payroll checks and direct deposit slips.
- Process requests for time off and daily call-ins for craft employees.
- Maintain craft employee files, including scanning for records retention.
- Maintain crew timesheets as directed by construction supervision.
- Perform gate watch (badge scanning) for personnel at the project site.
- Provide payroll-related customer service to craft professionals.
- Perform other related activities as assigned by the Chief Timekeeper or Project Finance and Accounting Manager.
Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Payroll and timekeeping systems experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends
Education/Experience:
- 1–2 years of timekeeping and/or payroll experience
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
