Ann Cook Dialysis Center is a new start up company, and is seeking a Medical Director to become a part of our team! As Medical Director, you will assist our Registered Nurse Administrator/Owner in overseeing the delivery of care to the highest quality in a safe and efficient manner. We have been in operations since the beginning of 2020 and admitted our first resident November of last year.
- The Medical Director must be willing to comply with the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services Conditions for Coverage rules and regulations.
- Must be board-certified in i nternal medicine or pediatrics by a professional board who has completed a board-approved training program in nephrology and has at least 12-months of experience providing care to patients receiving dialysis.
- Participate in the development, periodic review, and approval of a “patient care policies and procedures manual” for the facility.
- Ensure all policies and procedures relative to patient admissions, patient care, infection control, and safety are adhered to by all individuals who treat patients in the facility, including attending physicians and non-physician providers.
- Incorporate both clinical knowledge and administrative capabilities in helping to guide the facility toward high performance and high reliability.
- Retain a responsibility for the clinical strength of the interdisciplinary team members including clinical nursing staff, PCTs, dieticians, social workers, and any other ancillary staff that interact with the patient population.
- Take an active and engaged role in fostering strategies to improve the facility performance regarding clinical quality, operational excellence, and financial viability.

Previous experience working in an Adult Foster Care setting is a must. This is an at-will, self-scheduling 1099 contracted position.
