Continuous Improvement Leader | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events across manufacturing operations.
• Identify and analyze process inefficiencies, waste, and bottleneck opportunities.
• Develop, implement, and sustain continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, VSM, SMED, TPM).
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on CI principles, tools, and problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project savings.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Standardize best practices and ensure documentation of improved processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent proven expertise).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading and implementing complex CI projects with measurable operational and financial impact.
• Expertise in Lean methodologies, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and other CI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and change management abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Power BI).
• Experience leading Industry 4.0 or digital transformation initiatives.
• Formal training or certification in change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR).
