Position: Armed Security Officer

As an Armed Security Officer with Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' property, personnel, and ensuring a secure environment. You will need to familiarize yourself with site-specific policies, respond effectively to emergencies, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated premises regularly
• Conduct thorough site inspections and enforce security protocols
• Report safety hazards, vandalism, or suspicious activities
• Warn and manage patrons violating rules or causing disturbances
• Use detection devices to screen individuals and prevent unauthorized access
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent theft and unauthorized entry
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must possess a Michigan CPL or LTCH
• Strong emotional intelligence and sound judgment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to assess situations calmly
• Willingness to learn and enforce safety procedures
• Ability to handle crisis situations efficiently

Additional Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience preferred
• Reliable transportation (private)
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Punctual, self-motivated, and professional demeanor
• Ability to complete reports via computer or smartphone

Job Details:
