Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP, PLCs).
• Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and industrial control systems.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user support, to enable continuous production operations.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of new manufacturing technologies and software solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and support for shop floor systems, automation projects, and data acquisition initiatives.
• Oversee IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements specific to manufacturing operations.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments align with business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, and SCADA technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems for seamless integration.
• Solid project management skills with a track record of successful IT project delivery in a production setting.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data integrity practices relevant to industrial control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments and IT/OT convergence.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or PLC integration.
• Proven experience in implementing or supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives or digital transformation within a production setting.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
