Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments on admission and monitor condition trends throughout the stay
- Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications (including IVs) and manage wound care or specialized equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Instruct patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
- Recognize early signs of clinical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients
- Be prepared to float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care

Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical and telemetry experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in float pool coverage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
