Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Part Deburrer/ Machine Shop Helper for our client in Madison Heights, MI.

Shift:
6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday (overtime based upon production needs).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety (QEH&S) policy and strategic direction of the organization
• Sets up, operates and balances finished parts on the designated balancing equipment to within required specs
• Positions and secures deburring and cutting tools onto holding fixtures of machine, using hand tools
• Manually deburrs pans that have been machined using air grinders, files, sanding discs and other tools capable of removing burrs from parts satisfactory
• Adjusts and changes machine tools to ensure deburring meets company specifications
• Other duties may include: degreasing, porosity testing, clean-up, material moving
• Keeps workstation clean and orderly
• Verifies starting materials are adequate prior to beginning to work
• Responsible for quality of the finished product or services outlined above
• Moves incoming/outgoing material within the department
• Overtime as needed
• Follows all Company safety rules and safe work practices
• Maintains regular attendance and excellent punctuality
• Performs other duties as assigned
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.

Skills:

• 1-2+ years of experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read prints is a plus
• Set-up & Tooling experience

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical/Business School Certificate or other post high school training (2+ years' duration) a plus.
