Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard production, maintenance, and administrative personnel.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, particularly OSHA and manufacturing-specific regulations.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes for all manufacturing employees.
• Develop and deliver HR-related training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, and skills development.
• Support performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
• Oversee Workers' Compensation claims management and actively contribute to workplace safety initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of manufacturing positions (e.g., production, skilled trades).
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll processing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Certification or strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with HRIS implementation or advanced reporting/analytics.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
