The Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support our growing operations across our dealerships. This position requires a proactive, people-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting exceptional candidates with rewarding career opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Talent Sourcing: Proactively source and recruit qualified candidates for roles across sales, service, administrative, and technical positions using job boards, social media, networking, and community outreach. * Candidate Screening: Review applications, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for McDonald Auto Group. * Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience. * Job Posting Management: Create and post compelling job descriptions on various platforms, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and values. * Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process. * Hiring Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop role-specific recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with company goals. * Employer Branding: Promote McDonald Auto Group as an employer of choice through community events, career fairs, and social media initiatives. * Compliance: Ensure recruitment processes comply with federal and state employment laws, including equal opportunity and diversity standards. * Onboarding Support: Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, collaborating with HR and department leads. * Data Tracking: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, hiring metrics, and applicant tracking system (ATS) updates. Qualifications * Experience: 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in automotive, retail, or a fast-paced industry. Experience with high-volume hiring is a plus. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. * Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and build trust. * Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn), and social media recruiting tools. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. * Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment. * Attributes: * Passionate about connecting people with meaningful career opportunities. * Positive, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results. * Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset. * Requirements: * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to other dealership locations. * Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for career fairs or events.
