About The Position

Urology Locums Physician, New Mexico - 24-Hour Call; Long-term Potential

Urology locums assignment available in New Mexico, in Las Cruces.

Highlights

• 24-hour call only; low volume, phone consult focus
• Only 5-10 consults/day; no clinic or rounding
• Long-term contract potential

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital coverage
• Urology techs, hospitalists, and nursing staff onsite
• Local urologists available for peer support

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage; select your dates
• Dates still open for summer and fall
• Ongoing assignment with flexible commitment
• No clinic or OR time required

Cases and Procedures

• General urology, including TURP, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy
• Prostate biopsies and laparoscopic surgeries
• Must be comfortable managing a wide range of urgent urology cases

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Urology (within 5 years)
• Active DEA and ACLS required
• Open to IMLC urologists

Travel Accommodations
