If that’s you, we’d like you to join our team. Kraayeveld Family Law is looking to add a Legal Assistant to our team.

As a Legal Assistant, you will be talking to our prospective clients when they are considering hiring our firm, and you will be assisting our attorneys and paralegals with the administrative tasks to provide clients with top-notch legal services.

We have a great team. Everyone loves coming to work every day and working together. We'd like you to be a great fit, and for that reason, our hiring process is extensive. We ask you to participate in a written interview, a Zoom interview, and a team interview.

$19 - $23 hourly

• Talk to our prospective clients to determine if our firm can assist them with their family law problem
• Process our incoming digital and legal documents
• Process filings and e-filings with various courts
• Assist with payment processing and collecting
• Assist with sorting and digitalizing voluminous discovery requests
• Data management of client relations software
• This position is on-site, requiring your presence in the office

• Conscientious, dependable, and accurate
• Ability to sell; some sales experience in any industry is preferred
• Excellent phone skills
• Some basic bookkeeping knowledge is preferred
• We are a divorce and child custody law firm. The job requires you to keep a professional and friendly demeanor, as the firm also handles emergency situations for the clients who may be under a great deal of personal stress
• Excel at building and maintaining relationships
• Come to work with a positive attitude to make everyone’s day a bit brighter and better
• Be able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks with diligence and accuracy
