Deposit Operations Specialist
Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passioniate Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, specialty accounts and other deposit related products. You will provide exceptional support to peers via Help Me Line and completion of Help Me Tickets in a timely manner.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide operational & peer support across deposit operation channels.
- Respond to Help Me Ticket requests in a prompt and efficient manner to provide superior service to members and peers.
- Maintain 80% ready time in Deposit Ops Phone Queue, to minimize abandoned calls and assist with service inquires. Serve as overflow assistance for all Electronic Payments channels.
- Actively listen, build rapport and serve as advisor to coach peers through all matters as related to Deposit Operations.
- Conduct follow-up calls to members, in an effort to manage fraud through payment channels.
- Place courtesy calls to members, employees or vendors as needed.
- Monitor daily balancing of appropriate general ledgers.
- Manage reporting for various projects/services to resolve exceptions, discover trending, etc.
- Responsible for completing transactions at the request of payroll provider or Accounting department.
- Assist with managing the channels of internal communication to ensure current and accurate information is provided to employees.
- Adhere to any payments channel timelines and compliance regulations.
- Assist teammates with other department responsibilities as needed.
- Assist in any area as directed by your supervisor.

Education and Experience
- 1+ years of credit union experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of the member and Consumers
- Demonstrate knowledge of Consumers Credit Union products and services.
