Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
• Direct warehousing, logistics, and material handling operations for efficient material flow.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability for manufacturing schedules.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials planning, purchasing, and logistics teams.
• Analyze material costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, demand planning, and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for materials planning and execution.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making and process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization
• Experience with implementing and optimizing advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Advanced Planning Systems (APS)
