Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Warren, MI 48093 (Detroit metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Extended Care Unit, Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/06/2025)
• Nursing Shifts: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
• Float Assignment: Daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours; possible reassignment in 4-hour blocks
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1690 - $1740 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in telemetry or related specialty nursing jobs
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license from the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency in basic dysrhythmia testing
• Strong clinical skills and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of quality, compassionate patient care in a telemetry setting
• Apply the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families
• Effectively communicate patient and family information to the healthcare team
• Collaborate to resolve variances from patient goals
• Adapt to float assignments and potential reassignment every 4 hours
