Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) and technical specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and other engineering documentation to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Calculate and estimate material, labor, tooling, and overhead costs for manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales teams to gather necessary data for accurate quotes.
• Prepare and present detailed, competitive, and timely proposals and quotes to customers.
• Utilize ERP and quoting software to generate and manage quotes efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all quotes, revisions, and customer communications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (2+ years) in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel for cost modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and associated cost drivers.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems relevant to manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and modeling.
