About the Role:

As the Leader of ML/AI Solutions, you will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into cutting-edge ML/AI solutions. You will spearhead the technical roadmap for AI/ML initiatives, managing performance and value creation. This is a remote position, with occasional travel to our office in Southfield, Michigan, if needed. You are also welcome to work from our Southfield office if you prefer.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate and Connect: Engage with stakeholders across the organization, including Business Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams, to understand needs, align on solutions, and manage execution.
Drive Innovation: Spearhead the technical roadmap for business-oriented AI/ML initiatives, managing performance and demonstrating value creation.
Define and Deliver: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision, goals, solutions, and success metrics for AI/ML systems and applications.
Translate and Align: Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment on priorities.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Partner with stakeholders and customers to understand evolving needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in AI/ML, leading the development of innovative solutions.
Measure and Improve: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of AI/ML products and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Need:

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, ML, Data Science, or a related field (MS/MBA or PhD preferred).
8+ years of experience leading the development and integration of large-scale technical solutions on cloud (real-time or near-real-time), preferably within the financial services/consulting industry.
Previous leadership experience.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Strong understanding of ML and AI algorithms, with experience executing roadmaps from ideation to development and management of ML/AI systems.
5+ years of experience using Python and SQL.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels.
Ability to thrive with autonomy and guide teams.
Bonus Points:

Working experience in at least two of these functions: Product, Data Science, ML/AI, Data Engineering, Software Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of Scrum and agile methodologies.
