Operator I
The Operator I performs direct fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure timely shipment of high-quality products. This role focuses on manual assembly, functional testing, material handling, and basic computer-based production activities in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. The Operator I works efficiently to maximize output while strictly following safety, quality, and security procedures.
Responsibilities- Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to specified volumes and quality standards.
- Perform functional testing on completed systems in accordance with defined work processes and test procedures.
- Pull and stage necessary materials from flow racks and bin locations to support continuous production.
- Perform back flush operations and related tasks within computer operating systems to accurately record production activity.
- Conduct physical inventory counts in designated areas to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain 5S order and cleanliness at all times, ensuring a tidy, organized, and efficient work area.
- Follow all safety rules and consistently use required protective equipment while performing job duties.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and as directed by leadership.
- Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines, including staying to support project deadlines when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, with responsibility for assembling specific parts or components.
- At least 6+ months of on-the-job experience using common hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and screw guns.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to power on a computer, open and navigate documents, use a mouse to scroll and select items, and perform basic typing.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications as needed for the role.
- Capability to read and follow work processes and instructions for assembly and testing.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work while following established procedures.
- Willingness to adhere to safety, health, and security policies at all times.
- Mechanical aptitude, such as experience changing oil or tires, performing car maintenance, or completing home renovations.
- Soldering experience, including use of soldering tools and performing repairs on electronics such as computers, phones, or circuit boards.
- Experience with circuit board assembly or electronic assembly work.
- Familiarity with production environments that use 5S or similar continuous improvement practices.
- Comfort working with torque drivers and other specialized assembly tools.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a large production team in a structured environment.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean room–style production environment designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment. Floor workers wear special shoe inserts to dissipate static charge and prevent damage to components. The production area hosts more than 50 people at a time, with clearly labeled restricted work areas and designated walkways to ensure safety and organization. Work is project-based, and there may be times when the team stays to meet critical deadlines. The environment emphasizes 5S practices, cleanliness, and order, with consistent use of hand tools, torque drivers, and computer systems to support assembly and testing activities. Dress and equipment requirements focus on static control and safety, ensuring that employees work comfortably while protecting products and equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.34 - $29.40/hr.
