PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
Execute product manufacturing and business group requirements by utilizing mechanical skillsets to deliver orders that meet customer expectations while maintaining quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Consistently achieves high quality when working on Product assembly and modification, from documentation (prints, illustration, and schematics).
- Display workmanship that meets process demand (including standard, Customer specification, and/or appropriate industrial standards).
- Sequentially follow step by step instructions provided in Manufacturing Process Plan - Documenting all in-process checks.
- Using engineering design documents – place, assemble, and secure robots and associated equipment in
- defined locations.
- Move robots via teach pendant when required.
- Testing/Functional verification of products as defined (PDE EX testing and Engineer guidelines)
- Troubleshooting or debugging of mechanical problems.
- Disassembly and preparation of product for shipment.
- Proper care and use of tools and compliance with Tool Management Procedure (check out and return tooling daily)
- Compliance with all Robot Safety Procedures (including but not limited to, Haz Mat, Lock out tag out and RSIS robot safety)
- Reliable and consistent attendance required.
- Maintain high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and work area organization / cleanliness.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques
- Degree: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications: Basic Technical trainings or certificates
- Solid communication skills (oral and written)
- Self-driven maintaining a disciplined approach to responsibilities.
- Self-motivated while working, individually and with a team.
- Knowledgeable on ISO 9001 requirements
- Interpret and comprehend mechanical engineering documentation, prints and/or schematics.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and documentation
- Basic math skills
- Basic automotive repair
