Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator will work directly with patients, screening them for eligibility, assisting with patient visits and the consent process. They will collaborate with internal teams, including data coordinators, nurses, and doctors, to coordinate patient visits and inform staff about protocol requirements. This role involves working on multiple studies simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Screen patients for eligibility and assist with visits and consent process.
- Coordinate patient visits and communicate protocol requirements to internal staff.
- Collaborate with data coordinators, nurses, and doctors to ensure smooth operation of studies.
- Manage multiple studies concurrently.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Experience in research, ideally clinical research, but academic research experience is acceptable.
- Ability to interact with patients and demonstrate sensitivity to their needs.
- Experience in clinical research, chart review, clinical trials, oncology, pre-screening patients, and phase I clinical trials.
Qualifications
- Experience in clinical trials.
- Oncology experience.
- Experience in patient screening or recruitment.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant or Research Assistant (working with patients)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
