Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and optimize CMM inspection routines for various manufactured parts.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to create measurement strategies.
• Perform CMM machine calibration, probe qualification, and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs, fixtures, and measurement results.
• Generate comprehensive and accurate CMM inspection reports.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement discrepancies.
• Maintain CMM programming software, libraries, and associated documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Hands-on experience with CMM operation, setup, and calibration.
• Knowledge of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and inspection techniques.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced GD&T expertise or certification.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Experience operating or programming other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and data analysis.
