In this role, you’ll help create aerospace turbine components by combining press operations, sheet metal fabrication, saw cutting, assembly, and EDM machining. Your craftsmanship—and your eye for detail—ensure every part meets stringent requirements.

Mission and impact

Every cut, bend, and measurement supports aircraft performance. You will transform raw materials into flight-ready parts while upholding exact specifications and top-tier quality.

Core responsibilities

• Operate presses to stamp, form, and shape metal components accurately.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication with precise cutting, bending, and finishing.
• Carry out saw cutting to stage material for production.
• Execute EDM machining for intricate, high-precision geometry.
• Assemble parts with correct fit and alignment; verify quality at each step.
• Inspect completed components to meet customer and industry standards.
• Uphold safety procedures and keep a tidy, efficient workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience with press operations, sheet metal work, saw cutting, and EDM machining.
• Fluency reading blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving in production settings.
• Safety- and efficiency-minded in a fast-moving environment.
• Collaborative, team-focused working style.
• Ability to read micrometers, gauges and calipers.
• GD&T, Troubleshooting Skills, and CNC Machine Installation experience.

Physical demands

• Operate machinery to cut and form steel materials.
• Comfort working with heavy machinery and consistent use of safety gear.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization to support safety.
• Work with sheet metal and actively check for defects on moving material.
• Expect task variety due to cross-training.
