Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fabrication team.
• Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Optimize fabrication processes to maximize efficiency and meet production schedules.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce adherence to all safety protocols.
• Provide training and mentorship to fabrication technicians, fostering skill development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Manage material flow and inventory for fabrication projects, minimizing waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or supervising a fabrication team in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in various fabrication processes, including welding (MIG, TIG, Stick), cutting, forming, and assembly.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and safety protocols relevant to fabrication operations.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and optimize workflow for production efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated fabrication equipment and robotics.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, CWI).
