Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed

Pay Range:
Based on experience

Job Summary:
The Layup Technician is responsible for assembling and preparing wood and composite components according to production specifications, ensuring quality and precision in each layup. This role supports production teams by preparing parts for finishing, laminating, and further assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Lay up wood or composite components according to blueprints, templates, or work orders

• Apply adhesives, veneers, and other materials accurately and efficiently

• Inspect materials and components for quality and fit before assembly

• Prepare parts for finishing or further production processes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety standards

• Collaborate with production and finishing teams to meet production goals

• Perform minor maintenance and upkeep of tools and workstations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in woodworking, laminating, or composite layup preferred

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions accurately

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
