Carrier Sales Manager – Dedicated Freight
We're looking for an experienced Dedicated Capacity Manager to lead a team of capacity specialists and build reliable carrier networks for our contracted freight lanes. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of operations, sales, and carrier relationships.
What You'll Do:
- Secure and manage dedicated carrier commitments for awarded contract lanes
- Lead and develop a team of capacity specialists
- Partner with leadership on RFQs, RFPs, and bid pricing events
- Recruit and maintain a vetted carrier network (equipment, geography, compliance)
- Track KPIs including lane coverage, tender acceptance, on-time performance, and margin
- Develop contingency plans and resolve service failures quickly
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or capacity management
- 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven track record with dedicated/contract carrier capacity
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of truckload markets
- Experience supporting RFQ/RFP events
- TMS experience a plus
