Emc technician
EMC Test Technician - Key Responsibilities and Skills:
-
General automotive knowledge and understanding of electronic sensors and controls
-
Knowledge of AC & DC electricity
-
Test vehicle installation and positioning in test chambers
-
Test vehicle tie-down on chamber dynamometer
-
Execute vehicle level EMC testing identified in test requests
-
Compiling or tabulation of test results for further review
-
Reading vehicle schematics and topologies
-
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues (Vehicle and Facility Test Equipment)
-
Assist in supporting EMC lab daily operations (Facility, Safety, Quality, etc.)
-
Fabricate, modify, and repair wire harnesses (overlays, splicing, re-pin, etc.)
-
Support design/build up of instrumentation/fixtures for specialized test requirements and/or to improve automation of testing

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Allen Park, Michigan. It is an onsite role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
