Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production planning, execution, and optimization to meet output targets.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing principles.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement robust quality control processes.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Optimize inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics to support production flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing production teams.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost reduction.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 principles
• Prior experience operating in a unionized manufacturing environment
