Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Zeeland, MI
Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll, including tax filings and benefits administration.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
- Oversee daily office operations, including supply management, vendor relations, and facility coordination.
- Provide administrative HR support, including new hire onboarding and employee record maintenance.
- Generate basic financial reports such as P&L statements and balance sheets for management review.
- Assist with inventory data entry and reconciliation to support manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, managing AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in bookkeeping and office management, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and month-end close processes.
- Demonstrated experience with office administration, vendor management, and maintaining organized financial and operational records.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and smooth office operations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP Business One, NetSuite)
- Basic understanding of cost accounting principles
- Experience assisting with HR functions like payroll or benefits administration
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards or compliance
