7/8 Math Teacher 2026-27 School Year
All Saints Catholic School is seeking a middle school math teacher committed to the mission of Catholic education. Rooted in our mission to help students grow in mind , body , and spirit, we are looking for an educator who will inspire young learners both academically and spiritually in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and live out the mission and vision of All Saints by promoting the Catholic faith and teachings of the Church; witness your faith through example in daily interactions.
- Design and deliver dynamic, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and engage second grade students in their academic, moral, and spiritual growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly; provide timely feedback to students, families, and administration.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and structured classroom that fosters learning, joy, respect, and a love for God and others.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to support school-wide events, liturgies, service projects, and activities that reflect our Catholic identity.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and faith formation to stay current in educational best practices and spiritual leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Catechist Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Completion of the Protecting God’s Children training (or willingness to complete prior to start)
