Position Overview

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department, with a strong focus on employee relations, HR operations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and recruiting support. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with company policies and business objectives.

Pay/Compensation

$55,000 - $70,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Hiring Support
  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timelines
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Assist in maintaining applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics

  • Onboarding & HR Operations
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding processes for new hires
  • Ensure a positive new employee experience
  • Partner with managers to ensure smooth integration into teams
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative processes

  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns
  • Assist with conflict resolution and workplace investigations as needed
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

  • HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Assist with policy development and updates

  • Benefits & Compensation
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment
  • Support payroll coordination and compensation tracking
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries

  • Performance Management
  • Support performance review processes and documentation
  • Assist managers with employee development plans
  • Track and report on performance metrics

  • Training & Development
  • Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives
  • Support leadership development efforts
  • Maintain training records and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of HR experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office preferred
