The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department to ensure a consistent supply of clean, high-quality linens and guest items. This position ensures standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency are maintained while supervising, training, and motivating the laundry team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise laundry staff, assign daily duties, and monitor workflow.

• Ensure all linens, towels, and guest laundry are processed according to property standards.

• Inspect finished laundry for quality control and adherence to cleanliness standards.

• Maintain and operate laundry equipment safely; coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.

• Monitor and maintain par levels of linen and laundry supplies; submit requisitions when necessary.

• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure efficient and effective performance.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation policies.

• Schedule staff to meet business demands while controlling labor costs.

• Assist with inventory counts and reports.

• Address guest or internal department laundry concerns promptly and professionally.

• Foster a positive and productive work environment that supports employee engagement.

• Previous experience in laundry operations; supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and proper chemical usage.

• Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
