Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to cardiovascular unit patients, including post-procedural and post-op cardiology care
- Monitor vital signs and telemetry; interpret ECGs; respond to arrhythmias and evolving patient conditions
- Administer prescribed medications and manage symptoms per established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license; license verification via LARA and Nursys required
- 1+ year of stepdown/cardiovascular unit experience
- Proficiency in cardiac care and telemetry; comfortable interpreting EKGs
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Willingness to float to similar units as needed
- Travel assignment experience preferred
- Able to work the listed shift and travel as required
