Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine changeovers and set up new production jobs according to specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and materials for optimal machine performance.
• Verify machine settings and conduct first-piece inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues and minor equipment malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to guide setup processes.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Document setup parameters, procedures, and any modifications made during the process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols, quality control standards, and preventative maintenance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tooling or fixture design.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Prior experience with robotics operation or programming.
