Radiation Therapist Job Details

Radiation Therapist Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiation Therapist
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication and clinical patient care skills
• Commitment to complete the full 13-week travel assignment
• Travel healthcare candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette, MI

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients as prescribed by physicians
• Safely operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in a hospital environment
• Monitor patient responses, provide compassionate clinical support, and ensure patient safety throughout treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards
• Participate in hospital orientation and ongoing professional training as required
