The Role

The Engagement Manager, Central Region, plays a pivotal role in cultivating the human and financial resources that fuel our global work. This position focuses on major donor development and volunteer recruitment, ensuring our growing partnership network is resourced with passionate supporters and experienced business professionals. You'll work with high-capacity donors, inspire businesspeople to engage globally, and help build a thriving network of individuals committed to ending poverty through enterprise.

The Work

Fundraising & Donor Engagement

• Build and grow a strategic portfolio of major and mid-level donors, focusing on long-term partnership, increasing giving, and advancing shared impact.
• Identify and cultivate new donor relationships to expand the reach and sustainability of the PW mission within your region.
• Inspire legacy giving through planned giving and estate conversations that strengthen generational impact.
• Collaborate with global and regional staff to align donor engagement with mission-critical funding goals and budgeted priorities.
• Use CRM data and insights to track activity, identify opportunities, and guide personalized follow-up.
• Create meaningful opportunities for donors to experience PW’s mission firsthand—building trust, connection, and long-term commitment.
• Share compelling stories that demonstrate tangible, life-changing outcomes and deepen donor understanding of their impact.

Volunteer & Network Engagement

• Recruit and support Christian business leaders to join the PW network as Business Affiliates, Mentors, or Experts.
• Develop connections with churches, business networks, and community partners to broaden engagement.
• Represent PW at key events, churches, and business gatherings to grow regional engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with global teams to align regional engagement with PW’s overall growth strategy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in fundraising and volunteer engagement practices.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, fundraising, or related business development roles.
• Proven track record of donor cultivation or client relationship development.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Virtuous).
