Family Law Paralegal

What You’ll Do:

You’ll play a key role in keeping our cases – and our team – running smoothly. Below is a list of basic job responsibilities:

• Managing case files, court deadlines, and calendars
• Filing documents with the court (electronically and in person)
• Drafting and organizing legal documents like petitions, motions, discovery, briefs, trial notebooks, and hearing memoranda
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Supporting our attorneys with day-to-day case management
• Preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trials

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally in family law
• Someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys client interaction
• A team player who pitches in, shares ideas, and is energetic and optimistic
• Experience with case management software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Clio
• A strong, confident and can-do attitude who enjoys working with other highly motivated firm members
