The 3rd Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce plastic materials according to quality and production standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot machine or material issues during the production process.

Extrusion Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Third Shift ( Monday through Friday from 11:00pm to 07:15am )

• Operate extrusion machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Set up equipment, load materials, and adjust machine settings to ensure proper product specifications.
• Monitor line performance, temperature settings, material flow, and overall product quality throughout production.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and downtime records in the system or on required paperwork.
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and company policies to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Extrusion Operator Qualifications:

• Prior extrusion or manufacturing experience preferred, but willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and understand production instructions, measurements, and quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
