Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Oxford, MI as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, perform CT and X-ray exams, and operate CT equipment while adhering to safety and documentation protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Tech experience .
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent radiologic education.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing both CT and general X-ray examinations as required by the client.
• Experience with contrast screening and intravenous (IV) contrast administration.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) and PACS systems for image management and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior hospital-based CT experience.
• Experience with trauma or high-acuity patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Schedule: 36 hours guaranteed.
• Weekend requirement: Yes, every weekend.
• Candidate may be required to perform both CT and X-ray duties as part of the assignment.

As a travel CT Technologist, you will deliver patient care that includes explaining procedures, screening for contrast allergies, positioning patients, applying ALARA radiation safety principles, operating and calibrating CT equipment, optimizing image quality, and maintaining accurate electronic documentation for radiologist review.
