Salary Range: $53,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory levels within the shipping and receiving areas, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure all shipments are accurately documented, labeled, and prepared for dispatch according to company and carrier requirements.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips, reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and customer service departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and/or warehouse management software (WMS).
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs forms.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• - Forklift certification
• - Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
