Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage, ensuring high availability for 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support for shop floor systems, industrial PCs, HMI panels, and other operational technology (OT) devices.
• Administer and support key manufacturing applications such as ERP, MES, SCADA, and quality management systems.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to protect both IT and OT environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for all critical systems and data.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to optimize efficiency and prevent downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on IT/OT convergence projects and new technology implementations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V) and SAN/NAS storage.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues in a production environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or PLC integration.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Prior experience supporting ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
