Position Summary:
Quality Roots is seeking an individual who has a vision, passion, and the ability to safely perform a high volume of deliveries while maintaining a positive attitude and high standards of customer service. Home Delivery Couriers will be responsible for delivering products to adult customers at their residences safely, and for following any and all regulations for Home Cannabis delivery in the State of Michigan.
The first and foremost requirements of a Cannabis Delivery Courier position are to safely operate a motor vehicle and efficiently transport cannabis products from our store to customers homes in a manner which is compliant with state guidelines. Candidates should be able to read and understand regulations and rules regarding cannabis state laws in order to perform their job duties. Although cannabis industry experience is not required, candidates should be enthusiastic about their work while delivering products with a positive attitude and a focus on providing quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver cannabis products and accessories to customers at their homes according to the rules and regulations of the state of Michigan
- Uphold high customer service standards while performing deliveries as safely, quickly, and efficiently as possible
- Maintain a clean and uncluttered delivery vehicle at all times
- Receive and maintain a correct count of cash and debit payments while on the road performing delivery duties
Skills:
- Experience in delivery and/or cannabis delivery preferred
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle while performing delivery duties
- Cash handling and POS system, required
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and fellow employees
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to pass a Background Check
- Reliable transportation (Quality Roots will provide vehicle for deliveries while on shift)
