Machine Operator - Aerospace

As a Machine Operator you run CNC mills, perform inspections, remove burrs, and complete the finishing process using a combination of hand tools and machinery.

Essential Functions:

• Loads Raw Parts and Unload Finished Parts from the manufacturing cell.
• Completes in-process checks on parts to ensure quality products.
• Responsible for completing Changeovers in the cell, including changing Tooling, Fixtures, to go from current job to the next
• Use hand tools for deburring Aerospace components
• Use of manual and automatic hand tools
• Maintain High Quality
• Use microscope for deburr/quality
• Operation of CMM measuring equipment
• Operation of buffer/washer
• Scanning and moving parts

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for a 10-hour shift
• Ability to lift to 35 pounds on occasion
• Work is performed in a climate-controlled work environment

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts Monday Thursday
• Fridays are reserved for OT when necessary
• 1st Shift 6:00 am 4:30 pm
• 2nd Shift 4:15 pm 2:45 am
