Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining high-quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies. You will adhere to strict safety standards while collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA, MIOSHA, and company safety standards.
• Build and manufacture quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair of building and installed equipment as assigned.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report material shortages.
• Operate power equipment and material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Interpret blueprints, develop specifications, and create sketches of parts or products to be manufactured.
• Submit daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork.
• Assist in training employees and coordinate with supervisors on scheduling and project assignments.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervisory assistance, demonstrating proficiency in using precision measuring equipment and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Essential Skills

• 4 years+ of job-related experience in machine building or as an electrician.
• Experience with large assemblies and industrial machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in metric and inch systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge and computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
