Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour, paid biweekly
Employment Type: W2 Contract-to-Hire (6–12-month assignment)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Electrical Panel Assembler to support the layout and build of electrical panels according to customer and project requirements. This role is ideal for someone who works well both independently and as part of a team, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical prints to identify obvious issues or discrepancies
• Review work instructions and identify special build requirements
• Manage assigned projects with minimal supervision and without a complete lineup
• Compare kitted parts to the Electrical BOM and report discrepancies
• Complete build preparation tasks, including:
• Printing wire labels
• Cutting DIN rail, wire duct, and tag track
• Procuring required mounting hardware
• Assemble electrical plates and enclosures per documentation
• Assemble electrical components, controllers, and related hardware
• Wire components using proper color codes, gauges, ferrules, cables, tags, and identification per prints
• Perform field work at customer sites, including installation and service support
• Support team members and foster a positive work environment
• Follow quality standards, procedures, and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Perform crane, rigging, and Hi-Lo operations as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational education preferred
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to safely and effectively use power tools
• Solid understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
• Solid understanding of mechanical drawings
• Experience using measurement tools, including: T-square, Tape measure, Torque wrench, Scale
• Clear and professional communication with coworkers and leadership
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
